Saturday, May 12, is Theresa's birthday. She would have been a very young 55 (and wouldn't have been too pleased with me disclosing her age!). Her passing has left a hole in our lives, in our hearts. Today will always be a special/sad day for me: Exactly a year ago today, Teri, Kaela & I went to see "The King's Speech" at the movies. Teri looked WONDERFUL - I remember how cute she looked with her hair in a pony tail and wearing glasses. She had snuck some Ghiradelli chocolate into the movie theater, which the three of us greatly enjoyed. Before the movie, Teri had talked Kaela into letting her buy her popcorn. Oh my god.... i just found out today my darling, dearest friend and sister of the heart.
Teri was my best friend since 5th grade, lived with my family in college, and we shared everything including my son- she was his Godmother and emergency responder for both of us.
The space of time we would let lapse had grown since we lost dear Keith (my husband's best friend since college and our room mate when Teri & Keith met), and i am just devastated.
