Not sure what to say?

Although it has been many years since Dr Browne´s passing, his wisdom and caring heart is still cherished by me and my family. He cared for my wife up to his passing and we will forever be thankful for giving my wife many more years than we thought possible. Karen has since passed but she would not have made it as far as she did without Dr Browne.

Tom was among the finest I´ve known in my 81 years. Think about him and his impact often. Miss you!

Lynda, Jenny, Mike, and Kate,

We are so sorry to learn of Tom's passing. My family's thoughts are with you during this time.

As you all well know, I first met Tom when I was trying to convince him (and your mom) to let me take Jenny to her first prom. I was the dreaded boy all protective fathers worry about. Worse yet, I was a senior and Jenny was a freshman. Dr. Browne and Lynda kept their cool (and after checking a few references) agreed. We've all been friends ever...

Lynda,

Fred and I send our sincerest sympathy. Our hearts and love go out to you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

My family and I am so sorry for your loss. As a friend of Kate's, I know she loved her daddy dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

As a physician and colleague, Tom served as one of those role models that helped us see what we, as doctors, should strive to be. I will fondly miss Tom as one of the more truly intellectual, more empathetic, and less judgemental physicians among us. Tom's legacy will be his unassuming impact on all of us as we try to live up to his example in our attempts to carry the torch.

The staff of unit 5100 at Deaconess will sorely miss Dr Browne. He has been and inspiration to all of us. Our sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

Dear Lynda,
We're so very saddened and sorry to hear of Tom's passing. And particularly sorry we're out of town and unable to attend his funeral to honor both of you.

We know he courageously fought a long and hard battle against a dreadful cancer and we bless him for his fortitude for living! May God keep you in His hand and keep your friends surrounding you with kindness during your time of grief.
