Not sure what to say?

From my perspective, a good co-worker, a good friend, and, a good man.

I worked closely with Tom for eleven years while employed at Chevy Chase Trust Company as the sole tax staff and we consistently shared thoughts, experiences, and advice with each other in a most congenial and professional manner. Although, I did envy his amazing variety of cuff links. Tom was a decent and honorable man and I miss his guidance.

I am so sorry. I knew Tom in high school in Short Hills. He was fun and oh so smart. He was always kind, too. May your memories keep him close to you. Kateri Krannawitter Alexander

My condolences upon the death of my former co-worker at Chevy Chase Trust Company who was also a mentor and dear friend. I did attend the funeral services and was touched by the outpouring of love and affection evidenced by all of those gentle people who were honoring Tom's life.

Be at peace.

To the Cholis Family:

Tom was a mentor and friend and will be missed. May the Lord be your refuge and strength during these trying times.

Dear Mrs. Cholis and Family: Please accept my sincere condolences. We have all lost a great human being whose ideals and generosity of spirit should be replicated over and over in our society. I served on the Finance Committee of the Easter Seals Board with Tom for many years and always admired him as we worked together to achieve Easter Seals' goals.

My condolences to Nancy, your children & grandchildren. I worked with Tom at Chevy Chase Trust & he was a mentor & a good friend. Several co-workers & I had lunch often with Tom & enjoyed his sense of humor which lightened our days. My husband & I attended the funeral mass & was able to talk only to Margaret. May God's healing grace help your family in your time of grief.

To the Tom Cholis Family - Tom and I were associates together at the old Carr Jordan firm. We had lunch quite often. Even when he left and joined the banking world we stayed in touch. I thought Tom was one of the nicest, kindest and most thoughtful person I ever met. I am truly sorry to hear that he is no longer with us in person but will always be in our memories. May the Peace of Christ be with the entire Cholis Family. Dwight Murray

Tom was an incredibly kind, warm-hearted and patient person. He was beloved and highly regarded by two generations of our family - not an easy feat! Sincere condolences to Nancy, Tom's kids and grand kids. He was so proud of you all. - Lisa Linowes Yates
