Not sure what to say?

So sad to discover that Tom has passed. Saw the notice in the UI Tippie Magazine. Tom and I were fraternity brothers at Acacia. I have so many fond memories that include Tom. He was a fine person then and though we lost touch many years ago I know that his character, humor, and courage helped me be a better person beyond our time together. I'm sure his loss is deeply felt. My condolences to all of you.

Jan, I just found out about Tom's passing and was saddened beyond belief! Tom and I were on the IAP board together and I became a great fan of his. I am sure that you will miss him, but know that he is in a better place!
All my respect , Dean Miller

I was Tom's dormitory roommate 1969-70

The Mississippi Valley Ag. group worked with Tom at United Suppliers beginning in 2000. He had our total respect both as a person and as a business associate.

We will miss you Tom more than you know. Thank you for everything you done for us the last 20 years. These last 2 and half years at Meridian has been such a joy. We will miss your humor, your witty cracks and your smile. You gave us all opportunities that wouldn't of happened if wasn't for you. Thank you for being such a great boss and guy. There has never been a day that your name isn't said or you are not thought of. Meridian is your legacy and I'm so glad that I'm a part of it. Saying...

I had the privilege of working with Tom at both Lybrand, Ross Bros. et al, and also at United Supplies. He was enjoyable to work with, and a avid Hawkeye fan.
