I count it as a great blessing to have known Tom Heafey. He served countless grieving families with faith and compassion; truly a real gentleman and a faithful servant of God throughout his life. With great sadness I read of the passing of Tom Heafey. My South Omaha family's connection with the Heafey family goes back over a hundred and twenty years, starting with John and Conn Heafey who buried every member of our family. May Tom rest in peace.
