So many of us were saddened by this news. I'm sorry I can't be with you all, but when I am singing tonight on the USS Intrepid, I will be doing it in honor of the proud Navy vets in my life, including a great friend and cousin. Thomas will be missed and remembered by many.

MY parents, Mike and Nan Swift were very close friends of Thomas's parents, Celia and Tommy O'Rourke. I remember many happy get togethers in the Bronx. I am sorry for your loss of Thomas. I read his obit in the Star Ledger. I cannot attend due to our medical problems. I think Thomas's brothers and sister will remember our family.
