Not sure what to say?

Was shocked when I heard the news about Tom. His business was the Rock of this little Mayberrylike town. He was like Andy Griffith, always kind, always cheerful, knowledgeable and funny. I knew some of his relatives since my grandparents had the house across the street when we were growing up. I used to take over vegetables as a kid from my grandparents garden. I would tease him sometimes and call him Tommy, cause that's what his Aunt Marion would call him. She would be at our house in...

So sorry to hear about the passing of Tom my husband and family would only trust Tom as a mechanic he always had a smile on his face and would give us free advice about our cars we will miss him our prayers are with his wife and children and extended family at this time

I was Tom's mail carrier at the station. Until a few months ago Tom was always behind his little counter or outside with a customer. Even tho he was busy, he always greeted me. Tom was a dedicated worker focusing on providing good customer service, often coming in on Saturday mornings to catch up on paperwork. I will miss seeing him everyday. He was one of the "good guys." Gone way too soon. My sympathies to his family.

So very sorry to read about Tom's passing.
Much too young. My wife and I lived in
Yorkville most of our working lives and she
worked in Copley Hospital so she stopped at
your station every week for gas and we got
to know Tom and John quite well. Great folks.
God bless.

My sincerest condolences for Tom's passing. I had not heard he was ill and was shocked and saddened when I heard. I know Tom loved his family very much and was a great husband and father. I know he will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with all of you.

My sincere condolences to your family for the loss of your love one. May the God of comfort be with you during this sad occasion and may his loving words at John 6:40 console your heart.

Tom Cooney

I met Tom as many others thru his business. He was always willing to help and very fair. I was lucky enough to develop a friendship that would include rounds of golf or conversation at many different social events. Tom always took time to listen and share. Time goes by and life becomes busier families grow. Every time I would have a chance to see Tom again we would just pick back up as if we had spoken the day before. He was alway fair to me and my family in business and made you feel like an...
