Not sure what to say?

Jim and I are saddened by the news of the passing of your dad. What an interesting life he lived. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Thomas Russell Roper was like my second father while growing up next door to his family in McLean, Virginia. My brother Ziggy and I always affectionately called Thomas, "Uncle Russell" and his lovely wife, "Aunt Emily," as a way to express our closeness to them. We knew they were always there for us no matter what happened, as a loving support and voices of wisdom. We have kept in touch over the years, even when "Uncle Russell" and "Aunt Emily"...

My prayers will be with you during your loss of a great husband, father, and grandfather. Take great comfort in the fact that he is now with our Eternal Father.

With love and remembrance of you I light this candle that you will have eternal life in heaven with a new body and no more pain . You will always be missed and loved forever .Every time I here the birds sing it will remind me of all the times I have spent with you and the laughs we shared and tears and how thankful I am that I could be one of the nurses that care for such a sweet and wonderful for man for 7 yrs You will always be loved and missed dearly .
