Not sure what to say?

Funny..these four years have passed....and then this pops up in Virginia...and my friend says look.... at the time I entered nothing for this dear man....and now I will add something to this memory book...you are my brother...looking at this picture...I see your eyes...mischief...with that right eyebrow just a little higher...and it makes me smile....you always did...with your terrible humor...that I loved.....I love you....and wish that we could text ridiculous things to one another....and...

Remembering "Tommy" Ruth as forever young -- because I left the old neighborhood before he grew up and became a husband, a dad and a grandfather. So, in my mind and in my heart, "Tommy" will always be the cutest kid on the block in Parma Hts., Ohio, beloved brother of my childhood friend, Jeanette.

Tom was one of my favorite cousins and we had many great times growing up together at my house in the "city" and his place in the "country"
Geauga Lake and Euclid Beach were some of our favorite places to go as well as many bowling establishments in Parma.
One event that was special to us was Christmas Eve Dinner at Bushas Tom and I would "entertain" our families by playing Christmas Carols with my B flat trumpet and his E Sharp clarinet. The sound was different but our families...

My sincerest condolences, and deepest sympathies. Tom and I go way back to Tri-C, and when he, Rita and the kids lived in Parma. Tom was a great guy, and will be missed.

"Tommy" and I grew up together in Parma Hts. I'll always have memories of our times together - chowing down on the 2 cherry trees in the backyard, playing baseball and football at Pearl Road School, 'rassling on the Ruth's front porch, playing in the vacant lot next door, board games (The Game of Life) in the living room when it was cold or raining outside, Tom's red convertible and playing basketball in the Ruth driveway. Tom played for the Greenbriar Yeomen basketball team the first year...

I will always remember Tom's ready smile and helpful ways. We not only went to high school together, but we were also neighbors for years at Pleasant Lake Apartments. He will be dearly missed at our 50th reunion next year. RIP Tom and sincere condolences to your family.

My the God of all comfort be with the the family in their time of sadness

So sorry for your great loss. Prayers for your families. May God give you his peace.

Before Tom's children (Allison, Brian, Julie) and grandchildren,(Luke, Aaron, Jack) were born, I knew Tom as the cutest kid in the neighborhood, way back in the 1950s. I grew up with his sister, Jeanette, as well as neighbors Joanne Van Sherman and Susan Chanter Mulhern in Parma Hts.,Ohio. Young Tommy's shy smile and twinkle in his eye charmed everyone he ever met. We often played together. We loved him dearly with all our hearts. His mom and dad (Else and Ted Ruth) were so proud to call...
