I just now saw the obituary for Tom. We lived next door to Tom and Betty in Garland. He and my then husbank were the same age and he was such a good neighbor; I always felt safe when my husband was out of town, knowing I had a policeman right next door. He was so kind to our little children who were just babies then. I wish we had stayed in touch, but wanted to extend sympathy to all his family and friends who loved him.
