Thomas Jackson Warren, Jr of Kellyville, OK passed away June 12,2017 in Tulsa, OK.
Tom was born April 4, 1945 to Thomas Warren, Sr and Raydo (Stockton) Warren in Sapulpa, OK after almost 10 months. He was known to always be late. His Mother always said that he came in this world late and would probably be late to his own funeral.
Tom attended many of the Sapulpa schools. He graduated in May 1963 from Sapulpa High School. He was a member of the FFA. During the 1963 Spring Livestock Show he met Carolyn Sue McCain. On September 5th, 1964, they were married.
Tom was drafted into the United States army in August of 1966. He served his country in Germany until July of 1968. He was with the 165th MP Company, with an E-4 ranking.
Tom and Carolyn were blessed with 2 children and 1 grandchild. Daughter Stacey, Son Corbin and Grandson Corbin Tyler.
Tom was a cowboy. He traveled the United States and Canada roping calves and winning championships. In 1988 the next chapter of his rodeo career began. The Warren Rodeo Company produced its first rodeo in Kellyville, OK. Tom attended his last rodeo performance on Friday night at that same arena.
Tom as preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Raydo Warren and his brother J.B. Warren.
Tom is survived by his wife Carolyn, Daughter Stacey Warren of Kiefer, OK, Son Corbin Warren of Kansas, OK, Grandson Tyler Warren of Tahlequah, OK, Sister Wanda and Charles Long of Kellyville, OK, Brothers Sam and Teri Warren of Leach, OK, James and Brenda Warren of Kellyville, OK, Oscar and Donna Warren of Sapulpa, OK, Aunt Lavon Warren of Bristow, OK and numerous nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at the Creek County Fairgrounds Arena, 17808 W Hwy 66, Kellyville OK 74039 on Tuesday June 20th at 11:00 A.M. Visitation with the family will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa, OK on Sunday June 18th from 2:00 till 4:00 P.M. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.

Uncle Tom always made the sale on Friday nights at my dads his brothers and would work the whole night and have to head back to Kellyville and try to make another sale at Bristow for more years than I know!! He was definitely a hard working good uncle and is missed dearly! I know my daddy sure misses him as well!

I am so sorry for your loss. I always looked forward to seeing him at the rodeos. He always would come by wherever I was posted at and say hi. I have a reminder of him posted at the end of my driveway. So glad I bought that mailbox at the auction that night. I will miss him.
