Howe-Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Dearborn Obituary

Timothy Blackwell passed away on November 29, 2021 at the age of 58. Beloved partner of Tracey for over 20 years. He is the loving father of Kelsey and Carly. Dear brother of Mike (Lori), Rob (Cherie), Jeff, and Jill (Kirk). Tim is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Tim worked for Advanced Plumbing in Walled Lake for nearly 20 years, whom he considered to be a second family. He was also a huge hockey fan, especially the Detroit Red Wings. One item on Tim's bucket list was to be a season ticket holder for the Wings and Tracey was able to help him fulfill that .

Not sure what to say?

Tim and I were co-workers at Advance for years, but I considered him to be a friend as well. I am saddened to learn of his passing. My deepest sympathies are held for his family and friends. ~Tracy Dean

He was never around as much as we would have liked but loved when he was around. I’ll never have another opportunity to beat him at golf again nor will he have one to beat me. He left us way too soon. Tell Mom,Dad and Cheryl to save spots for the rest of us too.

We met online playing video games and talking hockey. Sending our condolences to the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless

I knew Tim through our professional working relationship at Advance Plumbing. I've been doing IT work for Advance since the late 90s and was there when Tim first came on board at Advance. In my line of work, we look to find "champions" that become our main points of contact at a company - Tim gladly stepped up to fill that role. Always ready and willing to assist when needed. Tim was an excellent champion. On a personal note, having known Tim for over 20 years, I came to know...

Sending sincere Condolences to the Family!

Thoughts and prayers to Tim's family. I didn't know Tim very long, working with him for 2 months. But I loved working with and having the opportunity to meet him. He was great at his job, and he spoke glowingly of his family at all times. I will miss you Tim, Rest In Heaven brother.

I would like to offer my condolences to his family and friends. I never got to meet Tim face to face, instead he was one of my best friends online. I got to share nights of gaming and chatting about hockey while streaming on twitch. He was truly one of the best people I have ever met. I had hoped that one day we would get to meet and hang out. The world has lost a great man. You will be missed Tim.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
