August 21, 1951 - June 6, 2023
Timothy Lee Redman, 71 of Martinsville, Va., passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023. He was born in Leaksville, N.C. August 22, 1951 to John Lee Redman and Guelda Gover Redman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jo-Carole Redman and Bobby Craddock.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley S. Redman; son, Wes Shelton; daughters, Kim Horton (Ross) and Amy Lusk (Mike); grandchildren, Brooke Cooper (Kyle), Luke Horton, Reece Lusk, Eli Horton and Riley Lusk; great grandchildren, Logan and Autumn (children of Brooke Cooper); aunt Kitty Reynolds; numerous nieces and nephews.
Tim retired from Nestle USA in Danville, Va. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He loved fishing, playing golf and most of all spending time with Shirley and all of his family. He was an amazing husband, father, "Grandiddy", brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Hillcrest Baptist Church and will be officiated by Reverend Randy Aldridge and Reverend Doug Ramsey. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church. Interment will be Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Burial Park.
