Not sure what to say?

Not the same without you friend. Your spirit still lives everywhere at NHS.

He was a character, for sure. He was a great and inspiring teacher and for those of us who were the beneficiaries of his coaching, he left us with a lot of great stories ! RIP.

It's profoundly sad to hear of Mark's passing. He was a "big brother" to so many of us at Lambda Chi. Loved our conversations. He did most or the listening because that's who he was. I grieve with his wonderful family.

I am finding it difficult to express how saddened I am to learn of the passing of my friend and fraternity brother Mark Tilton. I first met Mark as a freshman at UNH. Being from out of state he sort of took me under his wing. Many afternoons playing basketball at the Portsmouth Community Center, occasional (Ok not so occasional) trips to Rockingham Park, (the Rockingham Hotel) I could go on. What a fabulous career. My sincere condolences to Sandy and children, and to my special friend...

His sneakers were comically big on me, but boy did I feel big wearing those Converse. Mark played catcher that evening. I don´t...

Mark saw the good in everyone and got the best from them! He was a great coach and teacher!

To Sandi and the Tilton family, Ruthellen, Jared, and I are so saddened to hear of the passing of Coach Tilton. What an impact Coach made on all who came within his reach be it student-athletes, faculty, or families. The larger-than-life image of Tilton and Golden walking towards me always brought a smile to my face along with a "brace for impact" alarm. A true measurement of our time on this earth is, did you make a positive difference in the lives of people in your daily life? Coach touched...

Mark was many things to numerous people and anyone who knew him respected him and was inspired by him. But you his family knew him unlike others so while many are deeply saddened by his passing, you are truly the ones sufferi g a great loss. He was larger then life thus had the ability to not only have time for others but his family too. I know it had to be hard at times to share him with so many others but I am extremely grateful for it. I'm sorry I didn't make it back to NH after my abrupt...
