Not sure what to say?

Dear Bonnie and kids, I have a video cassette titled The Rebuilding of the Nauvoo Temple right now on my dresser which I haven't put away because it has Mike's name on the bottom and reminds me so much of him and his work. We feel so honored to know him and all of you. Please know of our love as you think of what a joyful, generous, and jovial man he was. With eternal love, Mary & Dave Eldredge

I miss you already grandpa. You always made my time out there so much more fun and sugar filled :). I love you

To Bonnie and Family,
The depth of our loss can only be matched by the heighth of Mike's anticipated reunion with the Prophet whose name he championed and whose reputation he extolled to anyone who would listen. Mike's gentle kindness, his ability to conjoin the past with the present, and his "verbal scholarship" are gifts we will revisit frequently in his absence.
All our love,
Dave & Mary Eldredge & Family

Mike, you brought church history alive in our time. When I listened to you speak I could see Brother Joseph walking Nauvoo's quiet streets. I could feel his presence through your research. Thank you so much for the vision and the testimony. Nauvoo will not be the same for me without you.

No one knew church history like Mike Trapp. I will miss his summer classes when I visit Nauvoo.
