Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry that I did not keep up with Mr. Houser after graduating from GHS in 1962. I often thought and told others about how much I owed him for teaching me English grammar in my junior year of high school. It was the thing I learned in high school that proved to be the most useful and helpful in the years that followed. I remember him with great appreciation. His spirit of independence and wit brightened the years at GHS.

Mr. Houser inspired my life-long love of literature. I hope he knew how respected and loved he was by his many students.

With gratitude and affection,
Marjorie Parrott Adams

Mr. Houser helped me with my English writings which were very useful in my college years. GHS senior English teacher.

RIP
