Des - I was sorry to read of your Mother's passing. Mothers are such special people. No matter our age, we always need our Mother. Yours sounded like a very special lady...a very beautiful life story. She will live on forever in your heart. My condolences to you and your family. Paula Scotney.

I am a cousin of Truus and have many fond memories of her as I was growing up. I spent much time with her mother and siblings and always looked up to her . She was loving and kind to all of us. It's too bad we have lost touch with them. I offer my condolences to Tom and their children.

My condolences with the passing of Truus. I am a cousin and have many fond memories of her throughout my younger years. My family spent much time with Truus and her mother and siblings growing up. we have lost contact with most of her family over the last years.

Truus and my mom, Lammy van Goor-van Eck were family. Truus and my mom were more than family. She were also friends. They make some trips to Portugal. And when Truus was in the Nederland, she was always visit my mom. When my mom was in canada, she visit Truus. They loved each other very much.

For me was Truus a cousin.Her mother was the eldest sister of my mother. So there were many years between Truus and me. She was a kind person. I liked her very much. We wish Tom, Des and...
