Not sure what to say?

It seems impossible that this amount of time has passed since Tudy's death. My memories of her wonderful friendship with all of its positive ingredients are as loving, admired, and appreciated as ever. Her goodness in the World will last forever.

In the two years since Tudy's passing on the Fourth of July the character of her life has changed my perspective on the holiday, as it has that of family and other friends. How often this past year I've wished for Tudy's view on state and national happenings, both favorable and unfavorable in my view. While Tudy and I often agreed, she was always there to allow those not in agreement to be heard. Her example has helped me be a bit less polarizing! The beauty of her life is that her...

Tudy gave our Mortar Board group such a wonderful gift when she opened her home for our annual gathering. That opportunity to reconnect meant so much to all of us. And her sculpture was so interesting!! Quite a talent!

I have not known Tudy long, but I treasure the experiences we shared. We were both members of the same women's groups and we attended theater performances together on occasion, so we saw each other fairly often. At her urging a few years ago, I joined her in a memoire-writing workshop at the Lawrence Arts Center. Everyone in the class was committed to describing key incidents in our lives, and Tudy's essays were always especially vivid and focused. She was so clear in her motive: to make...

For many years after graduation she invited annually our Mortar Board peers into her home for an afternoon of renewing friendships and just catching up on each other. Her warmth and generosity filled each meeting. Her many intellectual, creative, and spiritual gifts seemed to multiply with each year, and the light of her...

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Tudy was my mom´s best friend (Agnes Engelmann), her love and support through the years was truly a gift and one of life´s miracles. I mourn and will keep Tudy in my prayers along with your family and all of the other incredible number of lives she touched with her love and grace.

Dear Kerry, We were so saddened to learn of your mom´s sudden death and are so very, very sorry. We can only imagine what you are experiencing and wish there were something we could say or do to help make it easier for you. What an amazing person she was, and we feel very fortunate to have been her friends. What fun, special memories we have. Your mom was able to touch so many lives in such a positive way-we know how proud of her you are. AND, she was equally as proud of you! We so wish...

Tudi helped guide me through a really rough time in my life. She was the epitome of compassion and caring. She will be greatly missed. Many condolences to her family.
