So sad to hear of the passing of a warm and wonderful man. He was a mighty force to be reckoned with in boxing, I loved sitting and talking with him at the Eden Roskill RSA, and watching him hustle on the pool table, always brought a smile to face. Now you can share your stories with Gil Sullivan at the feet of Lord, Jesus Christ.

SCANLAN, Tuna Williard. Dad you fought the great fight and are now with your brothers Uncle Jacob and Viliamu in Heaven. Father of Robert and father-in-law to Miriam. Grandad to Logan and Tahlia, Travis and Anna, Chloe and Fender. Great grandad to Jayda, Ella, Aria, and Ibanez.


SCANLAN, Tuna. Former NZ and Commonwealth middle- weight boxing champion. Who can forget the epic fights with Stewart, Dixon, Pena, Nikora and many many more. Tuna, thanks for the memories and your contributions to NZ Boxing. The New Zealand National Boxing Federation.
