In Memory of Tung ~ (Debra Estep)

Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about...

You are remembered and respected. Thank you Sgt 1st Class Nguyen!

I Love this man. He is my hero and our country's hero.

I knew Tung when we were young. We worked together in a small store called Parker market in Tracy. Tung as I remember him was an upstanding young man. I recall he and I once went to a reservoir not far from Tracy on his motorcycle. He was the type person that would help you if he was able. I regret that he and I did not stay in touch. I admired him then, and I admire him more now. Tung was an American hero. Rest in Peace.
