Tyson Ulibarri Obituary
Tyson John Ulibarri, 18, passed away on Monday October 6, 2014 in Murray, Utah due to injuries incurred by a tragic accident.
A charmer from the very beginning, Tyson was born on May 14, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mike and Crystal Ulibarri. Tyson had an electric personality-he commanded the attention of all and brought the fun and entertainment wherever he went. He was outgoing, talkative, and sometimes a little too loud, but no matter what he did, you just couldn't resist the captivation that was Tyson. He always knew how to make people laugh and loved cracking funny jokes, but he also had a soft, loving side. He absolutely adored his baby cousins and looked forward to their sleepovers where he not only played with them, but also willingly helped to take care of them. He showed kindness for all animals. He was also extremely generous and helpful, particularly when he got his mind set on accomplishing a certain task.
It goes without saying; Tyson was a rock star athlete. He played baseball almost his entire life starting at the age of four. He made the All-Star team seven years in a row, played for two different Super League teams, and lettered in baseball at Hunter High School. Tyson was also an avid football player. In Hunter Little League, he broke a record with the longest run from scrimmage of 79 ½ yards. He was always the fastest player on his team and strived for excellence no matter what sport he played.
More recently, Tyson found joy at his job at UPS Freight, where he worked part time alongside both his father and grandfather and was off to a great start in his adult life.
Tyson is survived by his parents, his brother, Cameron Norcross, his sisters, Stevie Norcross and Ashlee (Jake) Ulibarri Jewkes, his girlfriend, Adriana Caro, and his grandparents, Brent & Chris Benner and Mike & Vicki Ulibarri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, where a viewing will be held on Monday evening, October 13, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m and again on Tuesday afternoon one hour prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
Tyson was a huge Yankees fan, so please come wearing navy blue. Donations can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at http://www.afsp.org/ or at Cyprus Credit Union to help with financial expenses under Tyson's name.

I remember meeting tyson back in 6th grade, even though we didn't go to the same school it was through a mutual friend. After meeting tyson we would talk on the phone for hours because we both were on C track and didn't have school we would watch the same tv shows while talking on the phone. Tyson was one of my first friends after moving to a completely new place. Can't believe it's been a year since you've been gone. Miss you!

I have a son who is about 9 months younger than Tyson and words cannot express how terrible it would be to lose a child especially when they've just stepped into their role as an adult. I hope you find solace in knowing he has gone to a place where he can watch over those he loves and will be waiting to greet you when the time comes. Praying for your family.

I'm going to miss you man. You were my role model and my brother. Me and Tyson always had pitching competitions. Tyson always had an amazing smile on his face and it's going to be missed. He lit up the room with his joyful laugh. I wish I could've played ball with him more after the Kearns league split up. Every game I play I will play it for Tyson. I will play it with the feeling that he is right there with me like it was back then. You will always be missed. And the times spent with you will always be remembered. I love you man and always will.

Crystal- I keep remembering the time that Chris & Tyson had a sleep over at your house and you came home from work and they had destroyed your house. They ate all the food and wrestled all over and knocked your plants over. When you came home from work you were sooo mad and called me to come get Chris right now. Silly boys- they always had so much fun together even when they were bad. Remember when they made wooden brass knuckles at Jefferson and the school was throwing a fit that they had them- but they made them there in wood shop so it was really on the school. Fun times. He will be missed. He left his mark on the world in his short time here.
