I'm going to miss Grandpa. As an adult we weren't very close but as a child we shared some special moments together. When he and grandma lived in the house on Western, my sister Nettie and I would stay with them when my mom went to work. They were very caring towards us whenever we were there. When we eventually moved to other States, he and grandma would come and visit us often.. He even came out to Hawaii with his mother to visit us when my step-father was sent off to fight in Desert Storm....

Wedding Dinner

My Uncle Bobo was a great man who I will truly miss. My memories of him go back to when I was just four years old and was the Ring Bearer for his and my Aunt Tessies wedding. I remember visiting their first home (the one with the rock face near the hospital) when each of their children was born and working with him when they moved to the family homestead on Western Ave. I would often stay there and visit with them even through my high school years.
