Not sure what to say?

Sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was always kind and gentle, and great story teller. Take care Kurt. My parents also send their condolences.

The news of Al's passing is a great sorrow to all of us who served with him. Forty years ago I served with Al in Munich, Germany. He was like an older brother to me. Al represented the best values and beliefs of his generation -- honesty, integrity and dedication to excellence. He was a highly respected and effective team leader. He demanded nothing of others that he was not prepared to give at least in equal measure himself. Al had great love for his country and family. His...

We were very saddened to hear of Al's passing. Although we were only able to hook up a handful of times, on each visit he was (without fail) jovial, animated, engaging, gregarious--always interested in what we and our kids had been up to. The last couple of years he had to be physically hurting but he'd never let you know it! His zest for life was such a benefit to Aunt Marion, and touched us and many others as well. We will always remember him as a shining example of aging with dignity.

I had just recently met Al when he called me to mow his lawn. My Dad, Lonnie, had worked on Al's house years ago, so it was neat to get to know him. Al had amazing stories of his life and willingly gave me a tour of that 'big brown house' across from the Post Office. Please accept my family's condolences.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Al's friends and family at this sad time. He was a fine man, a good friend and a wonderful companion to Dick's sister. We will miss him and will cherish his memory.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Al's family and friends. He was a wonderful man and it was a blessing to know him. I feel very fortunate to have learned from his life stories and offerings and I will miss him dearly.

Al was wonderful, intelligent, generous and the kindest of men. He was the greatest of dads to my partner, Kurt and I was very honored to be considered family by him.

My thoughts and prayers are with his children, Kurt, Lance, Wendy and his Grandchildren...Also with his wife Marion and her children. Thank you so much Donna, for helping Kurt and I speak with Al Saturday...It meant everything to us.

He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Feero is one of the best teachers I ever had! I was one of the first girls he ever had in "woodshop." Fond memories of him and the classes. I have had a lifelong love of woodworking thanks to him!

Al was like a second father to me. I looked up to him, and he had a big impact on my life in the short time I was able to be around him. I will surely miss him.
