Not sure what to say?

Organized a 17 Mile Hunger Walk to help the people of Biafra. Father Sheedy walked all 17 miles around Melbourne Causeways and the Indian River. People we sponsored by the mile and the walk was a massive success. Few know that the Gentle priest had caught malaria while serving in Africa.
God Bless You Father Sheedy.

I came to you on bended knee. I prayed for justice, and you gave me harmony. I prayed for quiet and you gave me rest. I prayed for happiness and you gave me faith. When I again prayed for health you gave me acceptance. But when I prayed for Love, you were silent.

Monsignor Sheedy has been one of the, if not THE, most influential people in my life. When he taught the Bible, you had the feeling you were there, watching, hearing, feeling the presence of our Lord. Love always came so easily for him. He truly lived a life of Love, Devotion and Giving. Never has there been a more loving, example of God's word, than Monsignor Val Sheedy. There aren't enough words to describe the impact Father Sheedy had on each soul he met, but all the words would be...
