Not sure what to say?

We just learned that Uncle Van has passed away. Another precious soul has entered his heavenly home and there is a joyous reunion with loved ones who had gone on before him. We still have the video Joe made of Van singing hymns and we love to play it. He was a very special person. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

I have many memories of my buddy Van. How we used to sing hyms in the nursing home and his constant witnessing for Christ. I love him dearly and was blessed to call him my friend.

Uncle Van I know you are happy to see Jesus and walk and talk with him. And I can image what is like to he greeted by your brothers and sister welcoming you home you will be missed and I'm glad I got the chance to spend time with you and it made me feel great whenever I saw u you would say "there's my girl" love and miss you....

Van Franklin and his wife were lifelong friends to the W. W. Carter family. I am the youngest daughter and desire to express appreciation for Van's great life and sympathy to the surviving members of his family. God bless all of you. We'll meet him in heaven some day!

On behalf of the Wright family, Harless, Nancy and I share your grief and send our love for the loss of our Uncle Van. With heartfelt condolences, Janet

Quentin and Dale Franklin

Vann was a BLESSING to everyone that he met. I always enjoyed his visits to my school when I was teaching in High Point, North Carolina. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
