My sincere condolences to Vance's family. I had the pleasure of working with Vance on numerous occasions during my tenure with Bangor PD. He was indeed a respected leader and will be missed.

Dear Val - My thoughts and prayers are with you as your go through the loss of one of the best. Although Vance can never be replaces he will always be in our thoughts and everyone has so many memories of this wonderful man. As a co-worker of his I enjoyed everyday that we worked together - May he rest in peace pain free and may the good Lord watch over you daily.

My sister Robin White and I would get excited to "go to uncle vances camp" back in early 80's, "gram wilcox" would give us a ride to green lake on hot summer days, id get out of the car and as fast as i could run, id jump off the wharf into the lake!! vance taught me to play guitar, and ALOT of fishing, ....most importantly, life is precious, i miss you vance, RIP my memories of you, forever .

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Vance was a true professional and a brother firefighter at the BFD.

Linda & I were so sad to learn of Vance's passing. I spent such enjoyable hours, jamming with Vance at Ken's home and playing at Sunbury Village together.
He was a wonderful person and a great musician and songwriter.
He'll be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

We worked together at Bangor Fire Dept.Been to many fire convention also.A good friend.

I knew Vance when I was a kid and he was my neighbor. He was a great guy and will be missed. My deepest sympathies to the family. Rest In Peace Vance!
