Not sure what to say?

We were amigos in Los Polvos at Mc Mann(been so lomg ago I've forgotten how to spell MacMahon Hall) in the UW days. Vaughn always brought a smile to my face. Bob Eckberg, Edmonds, Wa.

I will cherish the moments I had with you. I will always remember your laugh, and will never forget hearing you cheering us on under water during our swim meets, and your famous gumbo. You always treated me like your own. Your family took care of me when mine disowned me. I will love you always and forever. I will miss you at the street fairs. I will go to all of them with Carol to all of them! Rest in peace.

A great man as seen in the beautiful family he created. God bless Vaughn and his entire family who now have a new angel. Sending love to you and your family Lauren.

So sorry Carol and family for your loss.I really admired you Vaughn for your love of life in general but especially the love you gave to my dear friend Carol-you were SO good for and to her. I trust that she was a blessing to you also. Looking forward to singing a duet with you again someday! Love forever, Shelby

He called me his daughter and took care of me like a father would. I met him over ten years ago in West Seattle and I have loved him ever since. There is a huge hole in my heart now that he is gone. He was a great guy and a gentle friend.

Vaughn fought the good fight, kept the faith and finished the race. I have known him since we were both children in Crowley. My fondest memories will be the animated online conversations we had during the 2008 presidential race. I love you, Brother Vaughn and will miss you.--Cynthia Wicker Williams

Lauren and family, I am truly sorry for the loss of your father. Big hugs and much love from Ohio.

Vaughn has been a dear friend since I moved to West Seattle many years ago. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
