Not sure what to say?

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Vera Reynolds. She was my fourth grade teacher in the late 80s, and such a bright spot in all my years of schooling. Mrs. Reynolds made every day in class enjoyable and exciting, with our daily exercise routine to Devo's Whip It, her vibrant attitude, and her kind, understanding manner. She took a personal interest in fostering her students' strengths, and was always encouraging of our creative pursuits, which was very important to me and many...

To the Russo and Reynolds family's,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Vera's passing. She was one special Lady. And every time we would meet she was always warm and caring. And with that bright Vera smile. She could light up a room. Relish her memory and may you find comfort in knowing Vera is in good hands.

My heartfelt sympathy on the loss of such a dynamic and special person. Mrs. Reynolds was always my favorite teacher. I told her that many times throughout the years. In fact, I told her she was one of the reasons I became a teacher. I will always remember our daily exercises as she took off her high heels each day. May your many special memories bring comfort and peace at this difficult time.

I was one of the lucky ones to have Miss Russo as a teacher. Her passion, kindness and warm heart motivated all of us to become better students. She definitely made 4th grade comfortable and enjoyable!
I'll never forget how my class threw her a wedding shower and how she used to play whip it by Devo for our daily exercises.
In honor of MY FAVORITE teacher, I played that same song this week in my physical education class during exercises.

Val and Family:

I absolutely loved your mom and dad from the first time we met. I am beyond words that she has passed. She was one of the kindest woman I ever met. Her smile and energy lightened up anywhere she was. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I know she will be sadly missed by anyone she came in contact with.

Love,
Shelly

Deepest sympathy to the Reynolds/Russo family. Growing up in Pohat, everyone wanted to have Miss Russo (later Mrs. Reynolds) as their fourth grade teacher. Always smiling and very friendly, she will be missed by many. May she rest in eternal peace.

I am so saddened to hear of Vera's passing. I had her as my 4th grade teacher in the early 1970's and she was the best teacher, kind, funny, compassionate. I ran into her and her daughter a few years ago and remember telling her that we all used to love that she danced on our desks in class, just to get a point across. That stuck with me all these years. And she was the first teacher to teach me the Pledge of Allegiance....in Spanish. I remember it to this day. God rest her soul and wishing...
