I remember listening to you talk so lovingly about your dear mother will we were visiting at Rockwell First Baptist. My heart is heavy for your loss but am thrilled you will be with her again in heaven. What a joyous occasion it is to think of her no longer sick and strolling through heaven with Jesus and all her loved ones who have gone on before! God Bless you all...Steve, Mary Wagner & Jacob.

I am the daughter of Roshelle Walker. She loved Vera dearly. They worked together at MCR and went to church together at Hocutt. I know they are hugging, laughing and catching up with each other and neither one showing signs of Alzheimers.

So very sorry to hear to hear this Sad news! Sending love and prayers to the family. I worked with Vera for many years at MCR. She was a sweet lady and we all loved her so much!! God has gained a true Angel!

May God bless you in your time of sorrow. I am so sorry I will be unable to attend your mother's service due to health issues. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love always.

You were my Pastor @ Oak View Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, NC in the mid 1970's.

I have some great memories of Christmas at "Granny Vickrey's house" during my time of dating and being married to Mike. She was so sweet and such a beautiful lady. I am sure she is sharing laughs with Mike in Heaven. Our thoughts, prayers and love go out to the family. Pam and John Batten
