Vernon V. Baker

Vernon or as I called him Vernon V, was a long time friend of mine from the late 60's. And after I moved away our friendship continued with visits to Houston always involving a pleasant dinner with Vernon.

After spending 40 years in California, when I moved back to the Houston Area, I looked forward to renewing our friendship, but his phone went unanswered.

I know know why. I know that he was surrounded by his family, of which he was so proud. Bless you all.

Dear family, may the God of all comfort give you the strength to endure the loss of your loved one, Vernon. (Psalm 83:18) And, may you be comforted by the support of friends and family during this time.

Dear Mike and Angela my condolences on the loss of your Uncle Vernon. May our Lord bless you and keep you in His Peace during this difficult time.Know that you two did all that was possible to make Vernon's latter days as comfortable as you could and you were a blessing to him through your love and concern for his well being. Vernon, Thank you for being my supervisor, mentor and friend at ARCO. All the skills you taught me working onshore Texas early in my career, now 39 years and one merger later, I'm still working onshore Texas.
