Vernon L. Davis

Davis, Vernon L. – of Clio, age 74, died Friday, May 20, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, Ma7 27, 2011 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Gracelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11-2 and 4-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Vernon was born February 3, 1937 in Missouri to the late Chalmer and Letha (Crawford) Davis. He had resided in Clio the past 20 years coming from Flint. Vernon was retired from Buick Motor Division and was a member of UAW Local 659. He attended the First Baptist Church of Mt. Morris. Vernon enjoyed dancing, camping and hunting. Surviving are: 2 children: Bryan (Virginia) Davis of Toledo, OH., Jennifer (Steven) Yehle of Davison. 2 grandchildren: Matthew and Jessica. Sister: Erma.
