Amazing man, Loving husband, Amazing father-Rest in peace,

As I celebrate the life of "Mr. D", I focus gratefully on the many years that he shared his family table with me and my sister and cast his protective eye on us as we matured. In later years, every leap over the fence whenever my widowed mother called was powered by his love for her and our family. My heart is with each of you, my "brothers", my sister and my nephew and niece as you find your peace in his passing.

Rest now, Mr Vernon, your time here on Earth was selfless and strong. I know you are content to be back with your sweet Loraine. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family during this time.

Dinky was like a second father to me. I grew up next door to the Davis clan & latter become part of the family when I married Vernon III. Dinky looked after me, helped when needed & was always happy to spend time with me. He was my hero & angel when I needed help with my parents as they aged. I loved him & will miss him. I'm so grateful to know he is in heaven now with Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ & all his loved ones. At peace & happy for eternity.
