Veronica P. Hiatt MONROE TOWNSHIP Veronica P. Hiatt, 75 of Monroe Township died Saturday, August 1st at her home with her family by her side. Born in Nottingham, England, Ms. Hiatt came to the U.S. in 1965 and lived in Robbinsville before moving to the Rossmoor community in Monroe Township in 2016. She was employed for 10 years as office manager for Interpool, Inc. of Princeton. Ms. Hiatt volunteered her time for many years for the "Toys for Tots" program through the Robbinsville Police Department. She enjoyed nature and gardening and her two dogs Rocky and Bullwinkle. She was predeceased by her sister Sybil Pyatt, her brother Danny Hiatt and her granddaughter Kristina Huegel. Surviving are her partner of 38 years Paul Krych, her children Stephen Hiatt and his wife Michelle of Shelton, CT, Keith Rydings and his wife Jane of Nottingham, England, Rebecca Culver of Robbinsville and George H. MacLeod III and his wife Lisa of Englishtown, her sister Shirley Hiatt, her grandchildren Laura Ashley Huegel, Christopher Anthony MacLeod, Makenna Leigh Shiplov, and Emma and Jack Rydings, her six great-grandchildren Isabella Marie, Lilly Grayce, Carmelo Giovanni, Cameron Richard, Isabella Anne and Elena Grace, many nieces and nephews and her longtime family friend David Herzfeld of Robbinsville. Funeral services for Ms. Hiatt will be private and entrusted to the Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. Donations in her memory may be made to either the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia at or to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
