Another X'mas without you is approaching :(

Hey Victor,
I am shocked at the tragic events that occurred in West TX, which led to seven lives lost. Obviously it was a reminder of what happened to you in Las Vegas.

Victor Link was next door neighbor, my friend, surfing pal and sounding board. I am stunned, saddened and just at a loss for words. Victor, rest in peace my friend.

I am so sorry to hear of this tragic loss. I moved away from California over 30 years ago and my mother only just told me about this today. I knew Victor from Shafter High School. He was 2 years ahead of me. He was such a nice, kind and handsome young man. I can't imagine the grief his family and friends must be going through. I had the pleasure of working for this truly remarkable and awesome guy when I was employed at a company called Winstar. He was the best boss I have every worked for/with. The man was smart, kind, compassionate, fun and genuine. He really cared about people! RIP Victor
