While serving as Stamford's Recreation Superintendent, I took note of Vincent's leadership in helping Stamford to develop well-balanced outstanding youth programs. To the Sharkey Family: Vinney worked with my son George in the field of sports with the youth of Stamford. I remember him mostly in Basketball. They both worked together to set many a young person on the right path for a good life. I worked with his mother Margaret in the Stamford Hospital. He was a good man. My prayers are with you in these trying days.
