Not sure what to say?

Because I grew up in San Diego far from my aunt Virginia and cousins I didn't get to spend the time in getting to know them like I wished. When I was 12 we went back to Slingerlands. My aunt taught me very patiently how to embroider and helped me make my first pillow. It was a cute bullfrog. I went on to do more projects after she got me started. Reading about her being a cheerleader makes me realize I must have gotten some of her genes. Now I look forward to someday dancing in the stars...

Some of my fondest memories are of Slingerlands and the Font Grove Road neighborhood, particularly the Peters' house and family. Ginny Peters was a kind and helpful neighbor, always prepared to lend assistance when needed. She had a wonderful smile . My thoughts are with her family at this time.

To all of the family,
I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs Peters as a teenager, so many years ago. She was always delightful, gracious, smart, and highly respected by everyone in our little world. Years later I got to know Ginny Peters/Ginny Peters Birchenough as an adult--at the pool, on the tennis court and at some of my book signings. Such a beautiful person. I have many vivid memories of all the Peters kids and Mr Peters. I am raising a glass to her as I remember. My love to all of you.

To all of the extended Peters and Birchenough families, my heartfelt sympathy and prayers.
