I was very sad to read today that my old friend Virginia O’Brien died 7 days ago. She lived in the apartment above me in South Boston and would always stop in on her way home from work. We had many dinners and drinks out and at home at each other’s apts. She was a lot of fun. She was always rescuing animals in trouble.
