Not sure what to say?

It has been so many years, but I remember Virginia like it was yesterday. Hers was the first smiling face we saw as we entered the office at the original River Glen site. I am saddened to learn of her passing. Godspeed, Virginia. Go with God.

Virginia was a wonderful woman and she will be greatly missed. We worked together at River Glen, and she was a caring and knowledgeable mentor. I will always remember her smiling and dancing the night away at my wedding. I am sending my love and prayers to her family.

I'll always remember Virgi as a warm, happy woman, full of energy and enthusiasm. I could count with her in whatever I needed in all my teaching years at the school.. She was such a pivotal person to River Glen. She will be missed!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

You know I love you all Ortiz's! Your are my family and she was my "mom" too.

Virginia was always a kind and welcoming face - often the first you'd see when going to River Glen. She loved the two way immersion program, and totally supported the people who were involved in it. Thank you, Virginia!

Virginia was a wonderful person who will be remembered with love and warmth for a long time. When I worked at River Glen, she always had a smile for everyone that came into the office. She was one of the people who made River Glen a great school. My love goes out to all her family.

When our family moved to San José from Massachusetts in 1997, Virginia was so welcoming and helpful to us as our two sons began attending River Glen as 4th and 6th graders. I will always remember her kindness and welcoming spirit.
