Love and Prayers for this sweet family. We enjoyed her piano playing and her singing.

Sincere condolences to Mrs. Porter's family. Although I did not know her, I found in reading the obituary that we had a (somewhat) common thread! As a child in the 1950's I sang on Jimmy Harris' TV show, as well as Dee Lee and Uncle Ned. I don't remember her as the pianist, but our paths probably crossed back then. My parents were friends of Jimmy and his mother and used to go to dances at Jimmy's Red Barn. To this day, I am still singing--at civic club and church functions, nursing/assisted...

Rosielene McLendon, Naples, Fl. Ginny was a dear sweet lady she loved to sing and play the piano

I enjoyed so much hearing her play when she would come to our gospel sings at Bethany Baptist in Bolingbroke. Jenny was a joy to watch at the piano. I just talked to her a few months ago - so glad we had a few minutes to talk and laugh!!
God bless her family!

We all enjoyed your playing and singing. All the good times we had coming to my house for the get togethers, playing for us on my old piano, bringing me homemade cucumber pickles and all the other good food you cooked. Mama misses you so much. We all loved you. I told Mama you were playing the piano in Heaven now. Our prayers go out to the family.
From your loving sister,(Fran),
Rita Faye, Joey & Timmy

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know Ginny is playing and singing in Heaven, the place she loved. Ginny came to Bloomfield Gardens when I was their, and she added so much to our services. Ginny you will be missed.
