My last picture of Gina and Kirk together. I so admired Gina's strong and positive life force, even in the face of many sad events.

The Snells were great friends of our family for many years. They were full of life and were always doing something. Kirk shared a do-it-yourself energy with my dad, and they were always sharing tools and information with each other to help with projects. Kirk and Gina involved our family into many fun activities, making apple cider, sailing (even though Gina was very fearful of the boat heeling), hiking to see lady slippers on Mother's Day. I'm so sorry to learn of Gina Snell's death. My family also lived on West Hill in Schenectady and Kirk Snell and my Dad Seymour DePuy worked together in Waynesboro. I am also sad to learn of Tommy's and Peter's deaths. I remember Gina being an educated lady who was involved in worthy causes. My prayers are with the family.

Mrs Snell touched the lives of so many of us in the community, both directly and indirectly. She will be missed.

Gina Snell was like a second mother to me as she was a huge part of my life growing up in Waynesboro. She was my swim teacher, swim coach and included me with her family in camping and other activities. The Snells, Devoys and Carsons were each other's
family during Thanksgiving and Christmas for many years. This
dear lady endured heartbreak that most of us cannot imagine.with grace and character. I treasure these memories and will miss her.
I will miss her.

Gina and Kirk were friends and contemporaries of our parents, from GE and Schenectady in the early 50s through the move and adoption of Waynesboro for the rest of their lives. We were next door neighbors with them and their sons Tommy and Peter when we first moved to Waynesboro. We stayed in touch through our parents and periodic visits as they made their way through their achievement-filled lives, unfortunately punctuated with the tragic deaths of both their talented sons.
