I worked with Vivian in Tauranga - she was high energy and totally devoted to giving the best to our patients and staff. I am shocked to hear of her untimely death - Vivian just seemed unstoppable. My heartfelt sympathy to all the family. Alyson Howell

Dear Vivian was very kind to me when I worked at Greenwood Park in Tauranga. She always had a ready smile and a bit of devilish behavior too. I last saw Vivian at Ormiston Hospital when my husband David was a patient there. Thoughts are with Garth who played rugby with David in Tauranga.

I worked for Vivian in Middlemore Hospital - she was a great role model, being extremely professional in her approach to work but also loved a good joke, which made her a delight to work for - and I learned such a lot from her. My deepest sympathies to Garth and Vivian´s wider family - she was a joy to know!
