Mountain Grove, Mo. - Vivian Marie Williams, daughter of the late Jasper Claude and Janie Pauline (Goss) Hussey, was born April 10, 1940 in Lubbock, Texas, and departed this life January 9, 2018 in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 77 years, 8 months, and 30 days of age.

Vivian was united in marriage to Glen Brady Williams on November 1, 1957 in Pecos, Texas. Four children were born to this union.

Vivian always lived life to the fullest. She never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone in need. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb. Vivian was a tough woman who enjoyed working on the cattle ranch and she truly knew the meaning of hard work. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by one brother, Bud Hussey and two sisters, Lavonne Tenney and Claudia Butterfield.

Survivors include her husband, Brady Williams of the home, one son, Glen Robb Williams and partner, Aaron Erwin, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, three daughters, Janie Larae Peterson and husband, Timothy Lee, of Mountain Grove, Dru L. Christen of Mountain Grove, and Ericka June Sanderson of Seymour, Missouri, five grandchildren, Courtney Lynn Kitrel, Alexa Larae Christen, Austin Brady Morton and wife, Brittney, Kylla Marie Sanderson, and Kirsten Lee Watson, five great-grandchildren, Reagan Lynn Kitrel, Savannah Nicole Morton, Benjamin Nicholas Kitrel, Lucas Brady Morton, and Brody Dodds, one sister, Nola Yvonne Marshall of Odessa, Texas, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation for Vivian Williams will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 17 at 2:00 PM, also at the funeral home, with Paul Chateauvert officiating. Song selections are "What A Wonderful World", "Waltz Across Texas", "Walk Through This World With Me", "Amazing Grace", and "Go Rest High On That Mountain" with Joel Wren serving as musician. Robb Williams, Billy Williams, Austin Morton, Aaron Erwin, Burl Williams, and Robert Douglass will serve as pallbearers. Ethan Peterson, Tim Peterson, Luke Peterson, Jimmy Williams, and Logan Williams will serve as honorary pallbearers. Burial will be in Stubbs Cemetery, Mountain Grove, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mountain Grove.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through. Aunt Vivian will now have her wings and will fly in the Heavens watching over all that she has touched with her love.
