Not sure what to say?

Couldn't have wished or asked for a better Father, I miss you deeply but that leadership and selfless commitment burns brightly in your value inheritance to us Dad! Love & Miss you but stay focused on our Mission: Thy will, not mine be done, Amen

I've been privileged to know this man we call Shorty. Soon after joining the Chateau, I quickly learned that Shorty was a friend to me and to many others as well. I know he will be missed by all that enjoyed his sky-high presence and his natural humor.

LOVE YOU Dad! Really miss you, feel all alone now. I only wish I could have kissed you good bye!Even though I was adopted at one day old you and my mom never made me feel like I was anything but a child of the marriage in fact adoption word never ever came up!Thank you,you were my dad and I still cant stop missing you!I love you Dad, and am still missing you every day!

Shorty, you were an original. Your wit, charm, sense of humor, and genuine goodness made you a pleasure to know. You will be missed.

Well, Shorty, you have left us to follow a new adventure. But while you were among us, we would greet you with a smile on our faces. And, maybe when it is our time to go on to the next adventure, you'll be there to greet us with that big smile of yours and say to us, "Well, what took you so long!" Farewell friend...until we meet again. Carmen Lutes, Building Inspection, Principal Clerk.

I first met Shorty in 1958 when I started with the City. I had many dealings with Shorty over the years and enjoyed working with him.He always had a smile on his face and a good word for everyone.
He will be missed.

It's been decades since I last saw Shorty, but he was not someone one easily forgets. He was always one of the most approachable and friendly person I worked with when I was in the City of San Diego Planning Department. But if there was one particular memory I have of Shorty was those volleyball games we used to have in Old Town. I left the Planning Department in 1968, so it was long time ago. Thanks Shorty for the fond memories

We have many wonderful memories of Connie and Shorty, their friendly, sharing ways will always be rembmbered.

I only met Shorty Beights a few times, but my mother, the late Roberta Diaz, spoke of him often. She had great respect and fondness for him. Shorty had many kind words to say about her at her memorial service three years ago. Please accept my sympathy for your loss.
