Family-Placed Obituary

W. MICHAEL CHAPLOW Mike Chaplow, 69, entered Heaven on September 6, 2010 due to a massive coronary heart attack. Mike came to Florida and became Assistant Manager at The Breakers Hotel, joined Admirals Cove, enjoyed working at The Gulfstream Hotel and mostly loved his job at Devonshire in PGA National. Mike and his son, Kyle, opened Woody's Coney Island Restaurant in Abacoa, his dream. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Helene; son, Kyle; daughter, Erica Foerch; son-in-law, Kyle Foerch and grandson, Quinn Foerch. Viewing will be on Thursday, September 9, 12 noon to 8:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home Jupiter, FL. Services will be held on Friday, September 10 at 11:00 AM at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Tequesta, FL. We will celebrate Dad's life. Arrangements entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home, Jupiter. Hard to believe it's 13 years ago. I never thought I would be able to go through so much without you. Our son Kyle passed away in 2021. Without Erica I would be lost. Know you and Kyle and Joe are missed by all.

Dear Helene and Family,

I just learned about your very great loss. I am terribly shocked and so very, very saddened to hear this news.

I cannot believe that Mike is gone. I will always remember his caring and kindness and help to both Tony and me. Tony will sureley welcome Mike into God's Kingdom, Helene. Mike (and you) were always loving and wonderful friends and neighbors. I will miss him dearly. I am sending everyone a huge hug and my deepest sympathy on your great loss. Please call me when you can and take one day at the time. I will pray for Mike.
