Not sure what to say?

Mr. Boverini,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

May Walter rest in peace. He was a good friend and fellow Brickyarder.

Charles "Bibby" Scarlata

Please accept my deepest condolences. His legacy lives on in the hearts of many, especially graduates of NSCC and SSC. He will be greatly missed.

As a past English High student...both me and my family knew Walter well....We just saw him at our Reunion at the Marriott in Peabody in September...our teams w/miss Walter...he was our friend...

My thoughts and prayers go with you
and the family. Enjoyed your stories
at the coffee shop. They will have a
big garden, up there, for your care.

AS A FORMER ELECTED OFFICIAL MYSELF AND A FORMER PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR FOR NYNEX , NOW VERIZON I HAD MANY MEETINGS WITH HIM AND HE WAS JUST THE COMPLETE GENTLEMAN. IT WAS A PLEASURE KNOWING HIM AND MASSACHUSETTS LOST ONE OF THEIR BEST. THE LAST TIME I SAW HIM WAS AT DONNATELLOS. HE WAS JUST THE BEST. I WILL MISS HIM. DAVID RAVANESI

Dear Chris,

Please accept my deepest sympathies on your loss.

Walter was an exceptional human being. Generations of children in Massachusetts have and will continue to benefit from the many landmark legislative educational laws sponsored by Walter.

He was a true example of one of his own favorite suggestions to all that serve the public, "do not forget where you came from".

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

What a tremendous loss for the Commonwealth! Senator Boverini was a great man, the likes of which you don't see much of anymore. He will be fondly remembered for his wit, wisdom and personality and for his exemplary service to the commonwealth. Most importantly, though - thank you, sir, for your military service. You are indeed a hero. May you rest in peace.

My condolences to Walter's wife and daughters. He was a great public servant who was also very humble. And he was a mentor to many.sincerely former Revere City Councillor Billy Bell
