Walter Earl Brown, 60 of Modesto went to meet our lord after a brave battle with cancer.


 


Mr. Brown was raised in Grayson and graduated from Patterson High School.


 


Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Janice; daughters, Angela, Analisa, Amy and Alana; son, Samuel; two grandchildren; parents, Jack and Jackie; brothers, Jim and Tom.


 


A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 9th at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Modesto.


 


Services conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson.

I was Walt's friend at Chico St. He was one of the nicest and most empathetic people that I've had the pleasure to know. Darn Walt, sorry that you left us so quickly before we could reconnect. But I look forward to meeting up with your soul someday in heaven.

My father has passed but was good friends with father Jack Brown.

Walter Brown asked me to befriend him on f.b. I didn't know who he was. I recognized the last name and looked him up. I thought could he be related to Jack and Jackie Brown? I messaged him and he said he was their eldest son. I told him how I remembered his parents in Grayson and the Easters they hosted and would hide Easter eggs all over the huge yard they had.
