Trey & Family
As I mentioned to you at the service today , you certainly captured the essence of your father - HE WAS COMPETITIVE . May GOD be with all of you as you relive the highlights and fulfilling moment's of his life and may GODS healing spirit be with all of you as you live your life as inspired by your dad !

Truman Mabee WEHS '54

Trey, Jim just called me. So sad. This is the end of the class of '49. I often think of the happy times we had. Sherley Richter

Trey, we only learned about Tassie and I came across your Father's obituary. Mama, Bill, Jr and I have you and your family in our prayers. We had such great times with all the Bryants on the mountain.

My sympathy to the Walter Bryant family. Many former classmates in our graduating class of 1953 at West End High School remember Coach Bryant with fond memories. He taught many in our class and they all credit his teaching techniques with achieving a great education at West End High School, and preparing them for their continuing education. His services to all the young students he taught during his tenure at West End High are cherished and greatly appreciated.

I was privileged to have played on Sewanee's varsity basketball team during Coach Bryant's tenure there. He was a consummate Athletic Director and a friend to us all, always encouraging us and looking after our best interests. He will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this dificult time.
Yea Sewanee's Right!

Trey-

We never had the pleasure of meeting your father; we can see through your life the impact he had & through your testimonies the impact he had on so many at Sewanee.

God Bless,
