Walt was an inspiration to me. Our relationship began when he was providing travel services to my association. But it soon morphed into a lifetime friendship based in our love of KU sports and travel. He was loyal, detailed, and very conscientious in managing his company and motivating his employees and partners. He also had a stubborn streak which appeared from time to time, and which resulted in air and cruise lines giving him better deals to benefit the customers. Walt set an example...
