Field Elementary School 1955-56

I just learned of the passing of Dr. Gray- who will always be "Miss Gray" in my memory. She was my 2nd grade teacher in Neosho in 1955-56 at Eugene Field Elementary & I have such fond memories of her still. She was not only my teacher, but also the principal of the school. I truly thought the lady walked on water. The photo I am attaching was of our class & Miss Gray. I am the second girl from the left on the front row. I became a second grade teacher 14 years after...

Just returned from out of state to hear this very sad news.I was extraordinarily blessed to be Wanda's speech pathologist following her stroke. She touched my life forever and I loved her very much. My prayers and love go to Colleen, JD, family and friends.

Wanda, I will miss you, love you, will miss our daily hugs. Thanks for sharing a part of your life with me,I consider myself blessed.

Loved this lady! She was my professor at Drury and she inspired every student that was in her class. She introduced me to some of my favorite children stories. She will be missed.

She definitely had a great passion for teaching and because she is a legacy, she passed on this passion many times over. God bless this family and all who are dear. Amen.

Always enjoyed visiting with Wanda and Wilma when we had family gatherings at J.D. and Colleen's. She was a special person.

It is with great honor to be able to be one of Wanda's care givers for the past 4 years, and to get to know her family also. You will be greatly missed.
