Not sure what to say?

After all these many years of being Ward’s classmate at Topeka West, I will forever remember his kindness. A true gentleman, a lovely human being, a humble young man~ahead of his time. Ward died young and his legacy of decency remains forever.

Debbie and family,

I'm so sorry to learn of Ward's passing. Bad news travels slowly to Charlotte, so I am slow to respond.

I have so many memories of Ward. We were backyard neighbors from infancy and our parents were best friends. Even though I haven't been with Ward over the last twenty years, I always felt like we could pick right up where we left off. He was a good friend and a good soul...I will miss him.

Take care Debbie. Curt Heinz

Jeff and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

What do you say when a friend has passed especially when that friend has shown you what being a real Christian means and the miracles that faith can bring into your and other’s lives.

A number of years ago, I was diagnosed with a terminal disease. I was numb, scared, and confused. At the time, my wife and I were part of Koinonia class at Topeka Bible Church. Ward and Delvy took me aside and invited me to join their somewhat exclusive club – a club of broken men that apparently...

We at Winston Brown Const are so sorry to hear about Wards passing. I could only hope to have the degree of faith that Ward had. Even when his health was failing, and times were getting tough for him, he had the strength and grace to put his trust in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What an inspiration and role model for the rest of us. I have known Ward for 30 years, as a leader of people at his lumber yard, and as a positive example for all men. I am sure he will be greatly missed by his...

Our prayers to you Debbie and your family.

So sorry for your loss Whelan Family,Ward was a great comfort to me when I went through the cancer thing with my Dad. Ward even went to see my Dad at Hospice, and he didnt even know him.

My husband and I were visiting TBC many years ago and it happened to be the Sunday that Ward got up and gave his testimony. He talked of his cancer and his love of the Lord. His words touched me and I have remembered him all these years. I am very sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
